E-Commerce Specialist

Description
We are looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to support a growing B2C organization in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will focus on ecommerce platform execution, online store performance, and digital merchandising across multiple channels. The role partners with cross-functional teams to strengthen the customer buying experience, improve operational efficiency, and help shape ongoing ecommerce initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation activities for Shopify-based ecommerce experiences and related digital storefront enhancements. Coordinate with marketing, IT, operations, customer service, and warehouse teams to align ecommerce deliverables with business goals. Manage integrations between ecommerce platforms, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and other external applications. Maintain and optimize product data, online catalog structure, inventory visibility, subscription offerings, and site content within CMS and storefront tools.

Support online marketplace activity across channels such as Amazon and eBay to improve consistency and execution. Perform testing, validation, and quality checks to confirm functionality, usability, and launch readiness for ecommerce updates. Investigate and resolve platform issues, working with internal stakeholders and vendors to minimize disruption to customers. Apply ecommerce best practices and contribute to initiatives that improve conversion, merchandising effectiveness, and overall site performance.

Assist with launch planning and execution for new stores, content rollouts, and platform-related enhancements. Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or online platform implementation. Hands-on experience with Shopify in an administrative, implementation, or optimization capacity. Working knowledge of CMS platforms and ecommerce content management processes. Experience supporting integrations involving ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Familiarity with online marketplace environments, including Amazon and eBay.

Ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting. Strong troubleshooting, testing, and quality assurance skills for ecommerce platforms and related tools. Innovation starts with people.
