Job Title: Business Operations Analyst

Location: Broad Street, Boston, MA (Hybrid — accessible by public transportation; no contractor parking)

Job Type: Contract

Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, no overtime; hybrid work schedule

Job Overview

Our client, a large health and human services organization serving over one in four Massachusetts residents, is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support programmatic, operational, and policy initiatives across multiple agency units. This is a collaborative, cross-functional role requiring strong analytical, writing, and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with management and IT to develop solutions to programmatic and operational issues related to service delivery and policy/procedural changes
  • Manage and monitor diverse project activities, determining program requirements and coordinating resources across units
  • Analyze and interpret Federal and State statutes, regulations, and court decisions to guide policy and procedure development
  • Evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on existing policy, field staff, and client populations; recommend revisions
  • Develop and update notices, forms, and procedural documentation for compliance with state and federal laws
  • Act as liaison with federal agencies, state agencies, and private organizations on policy and procedure matters
  • Write documentation, reports, and briefs for varied audiences including clients, staff, oversight agencies, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and facilitate webinars to inform and clarify policy or procedure for agency staff
  • Resolve local office issues submitted through the Procedural Mailbox

Location & Work Model

Hybrid schedule based at Broad Street, Boston, MA. Site is accessible by public transportation. No contractor parking available on-site.

Engagement Details

Contract engagement. 37.5-hour work week; no overtime. All hires begin approximately 3 weeks after acceptance. CORI check and photo ID required for interview. Candidates must be willing to sign a telework agreement.
