Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Talentmark are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join a chemicals and materials manufacturer, at their site based near Sheffield, on a full time, permanent basis. The Company: Our client is a leading provider of specialty metals, alloys, and materials. Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum plus benefits package.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 12 hour day and night shifts. Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role: Your main duties will be to:

Diagnose and repair equipment/plant faults, to minimise plant downtime.<br />Ensure all breakdowns are carried out constructively and accurately.<br />Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks.<br />Work closely with production to achieve production needs.<br />Comply with company procedures and work in a safe and professional manner.

Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

BTEC qualified in an electrical engineering discipline and/or relevant experience, training, or certification.<br />Minimum 3 years’ experience within a medium/heavy manufacturing environment, although other industrial environments would be considered.<br />Demonstrable hands-on knowledge of electrical and PLC control systems (PLC programming experience not essential)<br />Mechanical experience would be advantageous.Apply:
