Location: Bicester / Milton Keynes / Cambridge / Colchester / Greenford / London & surrounding areas
Salary: £45,000 – £47,174 + overtime
Hours: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Trident Recruitment are working with a leading employee-owned refrigeration specialist who are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing regional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a varied role working across commercial and industrial refrigeration, with the opportunity to develop specialist experience in CO2 refrigeration.

CO2 experience is not required – full training and hands-on development will be provided alongside experienced CO2 engineers.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdowns
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Completing service and repair documentation
  • Building strong customer relationships
  • Developing your technical knowledge of CO2 refrigeration systems

We're looking for an experienced refrigeration engineer with:

  • F-Gas Certification
  • NVQ Level 2 minimum in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning – Level 3 preferred
  • Previous refrigeration industry experience
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to travel across the region, including London
  • A genuine interest in developing CO2 refrigeration skills
