CAD / REVIT Engineer

CAD / REVIT Engineer Bradford Salary: £35,000-£45,000, negotiable depending on experience Major Recruitment is recruiting a CAD / REVIT Engineer for an established, growing engineering business specialising in ventilation, air conditioning and HVAC services.

This is an opportunity for a CAD / REVIT Engineer to produce detailed ductwork and air conditioning drawings, carry out site surveys and support project coordination. The role As a CAD / REVIT Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Producing accurate working drawings for production and installation.<br />Designing and detailing ductwork and air conditioning systems.<br />Carrying out site surveys, gathering information and coordinating system routes.<br />Producing take-offs for estimating and assisting with estimates.<br />Preparing bills of materials.<br />Checking completed drawings and incorporating equipment details accurately.<br />Maintaining schedules for issued and received drawings.<br />Providing drawing time information to support project scheduling.<br />Copying and printing drawings as required.<br />Developing your skills through training in additional CAD packages.

About you The successful CAD / REVIT Engineer will have:

Experience using AutoCAD and Revit, ideally supported by relevant qualifications.<br />Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to drawing accuracy.<br />Good IT, organisation and time management skills.<br />GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.<br />A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br />Ideally, three years' experience in a similar position, although this is advantageous rather than essential.Interested?
