Work Hours:
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch, or
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
Experience: 2–5 years of relevant project/program management experience

Degree: Typically a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
FTE Conversion: This position will not convert to FTE

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager III to manage multiple small-to-medium projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, process improvement, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
The Project Manager will be responsible for defining project scope, developing project plans and timelines, managing resources and budgets, tracking milestones, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring deliverables meet quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with a continuous improvement and technology-enablement mindset and can work independently while effectively partnering with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate multiple projects within a department or business unit.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, cost estimates, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Monitor project performance and recommend schedule, cost, or resource adjustments as needed.
Coordinate contractors, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
Facilitate collaboration across business, technical, and operational teams.
Develop and maintain project requirements and ensure effective requirements traceability and change management.
Identify regulatory impacts, project requirements, risks, and potential issues.
Build business cases and project justifications focused on business process improvement and operational efficiency.
Monitor KPIs and project metrics and provide executive-ready status reporting.
Manage workforce planning, budget analysis, and budget forecasting.
Conduct value realization activities to identify project benefits and change impacts.
Develop process flows, user guides, training materials, meeting notes, action items, and project documentation.
Analyze business processes and identify inefficiencies, opportunities for improvement, and technology-enabled solutions.
Support application user management and serve as a liaison between stakeholders and third-party application providers.
Perform special projects and other duties in support of departmental objectives.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong Project/Program Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong Requirements Management experience, including gathering, documenting, analyzing, prioritizing, and tracking requirements.
Excellent stakeholder and communication management skills.
Experience with project planning, scheduling, resource management, budget management, and status reporting.
Strong risk and issue management skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
Experience monitoring KPIs, metrics, project performance, and business outcomes.
Strong documentation and records management skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and identify errors, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Experience developing and maintaining end-to-end process flows.
Ability to support technology integration and process automation initiatives.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Ability to work independently, influence without authority, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Experience building low-code solutions, automating workflows, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Smartsheet: Dashboards, automated workflows, forms, project trackers, and reporting.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
Preferred Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher preferred, with working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
