SEND Teacher | Lancaster, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to join an impact-driven community that transforms the lives of young people. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide vital support to learners with SEND and SEMH needs, offering a flexible and rewarding teaching journey.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tutoring sessions catering to various learning styles.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, tailored to your specific skills and experience.
• Develop trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring strategies to foster student progress.
• Report on lesson progress and provide regular feedback on student development.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people with diverse needs.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a focus on SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Familiarity teaching core subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science.
• A genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
