The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move and stack shipping containers.
• Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate container movements and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and basic communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
