IT Trainer / Content Developer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced IT Trainer to provide training on departments custom and commercial IT applications. The role involves both onsite and virtual training for adult learners using Microsoft Teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite and virtual IT training for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Identify training needs and coordinate course schedules and enrollments.
• Manage training records, attendance, testing, grades, certifications, and surveys through the LMS (Oracle/Workday).
• Develop and maintain training materials including:
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Trainer/User Guides
  • Quick Reference Guides
  • User Manuals
  • Videos and e-learning content
• Work with technical teams and business units to develop effective training content.
• Support IT application rollouts, UAT, and ongoing user training.
• Coordinate vendor/contractor training sessions.
• Maintain accurate time, activity, travel, and performance records.
• Travel within Georgia to conduct scheduled onsite training.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT training, technical training, end-user support, or working with IT applications/systems.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Office/Office 365 experience.
• 5+ years of strong verbal, written, presentation, and teaching skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Communications, Teaching, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Ability and flexibility to travel within Georgia for onsite training.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

• 4+ years developing role-based IT training content.
• Experience with Instructional Design, Storyboarding, and Visual Design.
• Experience with Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia, Articulate 360/Storyline, Microsoft Teams.
• Experience maintaining training records in an LMS.
• Experience with Oracle LMS/Cornerstone LMS.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
