Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Operational Analyst to support a mission-focused government program. This individual will play a key role in analyzing operational performance, developing meaningful reporting solutions, and driving process improvements across a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and experience leveraging data to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop, refine, and maintain standardized operational processes and technical documentation.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze operational data from multiple sources to establish performance metrics, benchmarks, and key performance indicators.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain operational health and performance reporting dashboards using Power BI.
  • Perform detailed analysis of operational workflows, processes, and mission-critical information to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify trends, diagnose root causes of operational issues, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among diverse teams to ensure operational alignment and mission success.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis and reporting. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT operations, business operations, data analysis, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience extracting, consolidating, and analyzing operational data from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing, maintaining, and distributing performance reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience writing queries to extract, filter, and aggregate data from relational databases.
  • Experience or willingness to learn dashboard development and visualization platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • General understanding of enterprise IT environments and operations.
  • ITIL Foundation or other relevant IT service management certification.
  • Experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense programs.
