Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support a cutting-edge consumer electronics testing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced technical environment.
As an Inventory Specialist, you''ll play a critical role in ensuring products and equipment are accurately tracked throughout the testing lifecycle. You''ll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support custom material movement requests, and help improve operational processes. Responsibilities
- Track, organize, and manage products and equipment used for failure analysis.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by entering, updating, and auditing inventory transactions.
- Manage inventory room material movement using internal inventory management systems.
- Support custom material movement requests and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient inventory storage area.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes and operational efficiency.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of inventory management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Apple productivity applications (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote).
- Experience with FileMaker or macOS is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during inventory activities.
- Flexibility to work weekends as business needs require.
Education
- Associate''s degree or higher in a technical field preferred.
- Strong computer skills required.
- macOS experience preferred but not required.
- English proficiency required.
