Rate: $70–72/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced Onshore Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered video streaming solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with expertise in Node.js, AWS, Claude AI, and video streaming technologies. You will serve as the primary client-facing technical lead, driving solution architecture, AI adoption, process automation, and offshore team coordination.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership, solution design, and stakeholder management skills while leading globally distributed engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture, technical design, and end-to-end delivery for enterprise video streaming applications.

• Drive AI adoption by leveraging Claude AI for software development, solution design, automation, and engineering productivity.

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and AWS cloud services.

• Build and optimize cloud-native solutions utilizing Vercel, DynamoDB, and modern AWS services.

• Design and support high-performance video encoding and video streaming solutions.

• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and provide architecture guidance.

• Lead requirements analysis, technical planning, and solution design for complex enterprise initiatives.

• Mentor onsite and offshore engineering teams while driving engineering best practices and technical excellence.

• Coordinate development activities across globally distributed teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and AI-driven engineering improvements.

• Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and team growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js development.

• Deep expertise with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.

• Experience using Claude AI for software development, AI-assisted engineering, or solution design.

• Experience with Vercel and DynamoDB.

• Strong domain knowledge of Video Encoding and Video Streaming technologies.

• Experience leading technical teams in distributed onshore/offshore delivery models.

• Strong experience in solution architecture, requirements analysis, and client engagement.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• Proven ability to drive technical strategy, AI adoption, and engineering process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building scalable media platforms and streaming services.

• Knowledge of modern DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployment practices.

• Experience implementing AI-driven developer productivity and automation solutions.

• Experience managing globally distributed engineering teams.
