Job Description

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT

Pay rate: £16.86p/h + Back Shift Allowance

Monday - Friday

Start Time: 13.30

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.

  • Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience
  • Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
  • Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
  • Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
  • Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a crew, depending on the role
  • Good awareness of health & safety procedures
