The Role • Operate heavy equipment like hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accurate and safe handling. • Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to maintain safety standards. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • A strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including night shifts. • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 50lbs.
