SAP Basis Infrastructure Architect

SAP Basis Infrastructure Architect - Location: Carlsbad, CA (50% travel required) - Duration: 12 months

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 18 20+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial experience in SAP Basis and infrastructure architecture.
• Demonstrated experience as an SAP Basis Architect, SAP Technical Architect, or Infrastructure Architect on large-scale SAP transformation programs.
• Proven leadership of at least one major SAP S/4HANA Bluefield or Selective Data Transition program; multiple end-to-end programs are preferred.
• Strong experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation, including complex multi-system landscapes.
• Deep expertise in SAP Basis administration, architecture, installations, upgrades, system copies, kernel maintenance, transport management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong SAP HANA database architecture, administration, sizing, performance, and migration knowledge.
• Experience with infrastructure architecture across on-premises, private cloud, or hyperscaler environments.
• Proven experience in high availability, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, performance engineering, and capacity planning.
• Experience managing technical cutovers, mock migrations, downtime optimization, production go-live, and hypercare.
• Strong stakeholder management, architecture governance, technical documentation, and team leadership skills.
