Job description

Job title: Teacher
Function: This Teacher would be helping 18-65 year olds prepare for their GED, this will be their primary function. This position is considered "new" as it's a role they've not had in place for a very long time, this is a great opportunity for an Educator that wants to be a part of developing the program and assisting the agency will incorporating a process flow.

Experience: 1-2 years of Educator experience in any capacity to include Elementary, Middle School, High School, Adult Education or any other environment where they were required to have a Teaching certification.

Requirements: Teacher license or certification for State of RI

Location: Eleanor Slater Hospital

Hours: Around 24 hours per week but could increase to 40 eventually

Duration: Long term/No set end date

Preferred experience: Experience working in mental health or adults with disabilities a plus
