A leading supplier of building products is seeking a driven Territory Manager to spearhead sales growth and cultivate strong customer relationships within a designated territory. This role is crucial for maximizing revenue from existing clients and identifying new business opportunities, acting as a vital link between customers and internal support teams. The position demands a proactive approach to sales strategy, market analysis, and client engagement to achieve significant results in a multi-million dollar territory.
The Role
• Proactively drive territory sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Expand the customer base through strategic prospecting, including cold calls and networking.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform and refine sales strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver comprehensive, customer-focused solutions.
• Analyze sales data and conduct business reviews to optimize performance and identify growth areas.
• Represent the company and build networks at industry events and trade shows.
What You'll Need
• Proven success managing a multi-million dollar territory with consistent year-over-year growth.
• Demonstrated ability in developing and executing effective territory sales strategies.
• Strong proficiency in relationship-building and communication skills.
• A customer-focused approach with a strong track record of satisfaction and retention.
• Experience in targeting, tracking, and closing sales with various client types.
• Proficient in standard office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or sales management, with at least one year in B2B sales within related industries.
