The Role
• Contribute to the design and development of advanced systems within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Design, implement, and test object-oriented applications using Python and MATLAB.
• Develop and integrate software to configure and control RF hardware devices.
• Build and integrate low-level software with a user-facing GUI.
• Create Hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) tests and design test frameworks for HITL environments.
• Document developed test software and embedded systems, and communicate technical details effectively.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of software development experience, with strong proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with hardware-software interaction and basic computer architecture.
• Experience with hardware interfaces (e.g., PCIe, UART, Ethernet) and build tools (e.g., GCC, CMake).
• Proficiency with version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Experience with software testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineering teams.
• Demonstrated motivation and aptitude for continuous learning of new technical skills.
