Job Description

Our client, a global medical technology company specializing in precision solutions for radiation oncology, is seeking a Southeast Regional Account Manager. This individual will be responsible for growing revenue, developing new business, and managing customer relationships throughout the region.

The ideal candidate has experience selling radiation oncology technology, medical devices, or clinical software to hospitals and cancer centers. Radiation therapists, dosimetrists, or medical physicists with strong commercial experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Southeast territory
  • Generate new business and expand relationships within existing accounts
  • Sell patient-positioning, surface-guidance, and quality-assurance solutions used in radiation oncology
  • Build relationships with medical physicists, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, department leaders, and hospital decision-makers
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing
  • Identify capital-planning cycles, competitive replacements, and expansion opportunities
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and presentations with clinical and technical teams
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, and forecasting information within the CRM
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and regional customer events
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, applications, service, and distribution partners

Compensation: $150,000 base salary $280,000 on-target earnings

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Three or more years of successful medical-device, radiation-oncology, or healthcare-technology sales experience
  • Understanding of radiation oncology workflows and clinical stakeholders strongly preferred
  • Experience selling capital equipment, clinical software, or other complex technical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and manage longer sales cycles
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently from a home-based office
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Southeast territory

Preferred Background

  • Experience selling radiation therapy, patient-positioning, SGRT, dosimetry, or quality-assurance technology
  • Existing relationships with cancer centers and radiation oncology departments
  • Clinical experience as a radiation therapist, dosimetrist, or medical physicist
  • Experience managing distributors or channel partners
