The Role

• Conduct in-depth pain therapy anamnesis interviews and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
• Undertake differential diagnoses for complex pain syndromes.
• Initiate diagnostic and therapeutic measures, creating personalized treatment plans.
• Independently conduct patient education and training sessions.
• Utilize complementary therapy methods and collaborate with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, and specialized nursing.
• Participate in the internal pain therapy consultation service.

What You'll Need

• Board certification as a physician (m/f/d) in a patient-facing specialty (e.g., General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Trauma Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neurology).
• Completion of specialized training in Pain Therapy or a strong desire to acquire this certification.
• Demonstrated empathy, flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm for contributing ideas within a multidisciplinary team and embracing a holistic therapy approach.
