Candidates MUST be on Prominent payroll as a W2 during the contract phase.

Prominent is looking for REMOTE Quality Automation Engineers for a 6-9 month project. The potential to roll over into a full time staff role is strong.  The Quality Automation Engineer designs and maintains automated testing solutions using Playwright for UI and API testing, aiming to enhance software reliability and speed up release cycles. Duties will include:
  • Utilizing Playwright for automation using TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Developing automated test scripts, enhancing automation frameworks, executing UI/API testing, and improving test coverage to reduce manual effort.
  • Working closely with development and product teams to identify, report, and resolve defects.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in QA/testing and automated testing.
  • Proficiency with Playwright and modern web testing tools.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and collaboration within Agile teams. 
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. 
 
Anticipated rate  while on contract is $50-54/hr.
