The Analyst, Policy, Training & Governance position supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise governance programs, policy management processes, and employee training initiatives.
In this role you will:
- Administer and maintain the enterprise policy governance framework, including policy creation, review cycles, approvals, publication, and policy register management.
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and communication of corporate policies, procedures, and governance standards across the organization.
- Design, deliver, and track training and awareness programs related to compliance, risk management, governance, business continuity, and organizational policies.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain governance, compliance, risk, training, and business continuity reports, dashboards, and scorecards using data from policy management systems, learning management systems (LMS), risk registers, audit findings, compliance monitoring activities, employee attestations, and other enterprise governance tools.
- Collect, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, monitor key performance and risk indicators (KPIs/KRIs), and provide actionable insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for management committees and senior leadership, highlighting policy compliance, training completion rates, risk exposures, business continuity readiness, governance activities, and remediation progress.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, testing, and continuous improvement of business continuity plans and organizational resilience programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field required
- Three (3) or more years of experience supporting policy management, governance, compliance, risk management, business continuity, training, reporting, or related functions.
- Experience developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using data from multiple business systems and sources.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of policy governance frameworks, policy lifecycle management, and document control practices.
- Understanding of governance, risk management, compliance, internal controls, and business continuity principles.
- Professional certifications such as CRMA, CERP, CAP, Tableau, Power BI, or related certifications are a plus.
- Ability to collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, including policy systems, learning management systems, audit findings, compliance monitoring activities, risk registers, employee attestations, and operational reports.
- Knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools, with the ability to create meaningful dashboards and executive-level presentations that support decision-making.
- Ability to resolve issues with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to prioritize, execute tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to draft contract language
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information ethically and responsibly
- Able to work additional hours including evenings and weekends when needed
- This position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
