Test Lead / ADMS

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead / QA Lead with strong expertise in ADMS/EDMS and the Energy & Utilities domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading testing activities for utility applications, with a strong understanding of Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Outage Management Systems (OMS), and SCADA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for ADMS/EDMS applications within the Energy & Utilities domain.
• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution plans.
• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, Regression Testing, End-to-End Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate integrations between ADMS, SCADA, OMS, DMS, GIS, and other utility systems.
• Review business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Manage defect identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution using appropriate defect management tools.
• Coordinate with developers, business analysts, utility SMEs, project managers, and client stakeholders.
• Provide daily/weekly testing status, metrics, defect reports, and overall QA progress.
• Identify testing risks, dependencies, and issues and drive them toward resolution.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to QA engineers and testing teams.
• Ensure testing deliverables meet project quality standards and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Test Lead / QA Lead in the Energy & Utilities domain.
• Hands-on experience with ADMS / EDMS / DMS applications.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA and OMS systems.
• Experience testing utility business processes and applications.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end system integrations within utility environments.
• Experience in test planning, test strategy, test execution, defect management, and QA reporting.
• Excellent understanding of SIT, UAT, regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

Preferred

• Experience with GIS integration and utility operational systems.
• Experience with AMI, Metering, Distribution Automation, or Grid Management applications.
• Experience with JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar testing/defect management tools.
• Experience working with major Electric Utility / Energy clients.
• Knowledge of utility grid operations and distribution management processes.
