Maintenance Planning Engineer

Role: Maintenance Engineer Type: Permanent Location: Redditch SRG are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planning Engineer on a permanent basis, based in Redditch. As the Maintenance Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, reducing downtime and ensuring maintenance activities are effectively planned, documented and executed. This role offers a blend of maintenance administration and hands-on mechanical engineering support.

Key responsibilities:

Managing maintenance schedules, documentation and records<br />Coordinating spare parts sourcing and procurement<br />Supporting preventative maintenance programmes<br />Assisting with equipment troubleshooting and breakdown response<br />Tracking maintenance metrics and producing performance reports<br />Maintaining asset management systems and equipment records<br />Developing operating procedures and maintenance instructions<br />Working with internal teams and external service providers<br />Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations Criteria: An engineering apprenticeship, HNC, HND or equivalent practical experience<br />Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment<br />Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills<br />Experience maintaining a variety of production equipment<br />The ability to create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
