Avanciers Incorporated is hiring a Light Industrial - Quality Assistant for one of our clients.

Role: Quality Assistant

Location: Richmond, VA – Onsite
Duration: 8 Months | Potential Full-Time Conversion

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assistant to support incoming inspection, testing, measurement, and quality documentation for mechanical and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspections and testing of mechanical and electrical parts.
  • Use measurement and testing tools such as CMM, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Prepare dimensional, inspection, and test reports.
  • Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials.
  • Support First Article Measurement Reports and SPC data collection.
  • Investigate product defects and assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Review supplier documentation and support Supplier Quality Engineers.

Required Skills

  • Quality Assurance, Inspection, and Measurement Tools experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work with high-voltage products/components.

Experience: 1+ Year
Education: High School Diploma
