IT Support / Systems Administrator - Contract - Manhattan, NY/Hybrid - $35.00 - $43.00/hr.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking IT Support / Systems Administrator for Manhattan, NY/Hybrid

Role Description

This is a hands-on IT Support / Systems Administrator role. The manager is looking for someone closer to a senior-level support professional rather than a junior technician. The person will provide day-to-day IT support while also assisting with ongoing infrastructure and migration projects.

Desktop and end-user support
User onboarding and offboarding
System access and identity management
License administration and provisioning
Managing user accounts and permissions
General IT support for employees across the organization
Assisting with system migration projects
Providing occasional after-hours support when needed
Handling approximately 10-15 support tickets per day

Skills & Requirements

Hands-on and comfortable working directly with end users
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Able to explain complex technical concepts in simple, non-technical terms
Curious and resourceful; willing to research and learn when unfamiliar with an issue
Comfortable balancing daily support work with project-based responsibilities
Enjoys interacting with users and solving problems
