NOC Engineer

Enorth Resourcing is working with an established, growing Managed Service Provider in Milton Keynes. They're looking for a NOC Engineer to keep their managed client estate healthy.

This role is for someone who likes fixing things properly. You'll work the alert queue down, sort root causes so the same device stops re-alerting, and own patch compliance across a varied client base. NinjaOne RMM is at the heart of the role.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring client servers, endpoints and networks through NinjaOne RMM, and responding to alerts within SLA
• Triaging and resolving alerts such as disk space, services, offline devices and AV/EDR health
• Managing the patch cycle: Windows and third-party updates, failed or stuck patch runs, pending reboots
• Reporting on patch compliance and device health
• Monitoring backup jobs and escalating failures
• Tuning monitoring policies to cut alert noise
• Documenting tickets clearly and escalating to 2nd/3rd line with full diagnostic notes

What you'll need

• Hands-on, day-to-day experience with NinjaOne RMM (essential)
• NOC, monitoring or service desk experience, ideally within an MSP
• Solid Windows patch troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and core networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• Clear written communication
• Ability to commute to Milton Keynes

Nice to have

• PowerShell scripting
• NinjaOne certification
• Experience with Veeam, HaloPSA or similar MSP tooling
• Huntress or other EDR platforms
