Senior SAP BTP Software Engineer

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits seeks a Staff SAP BTP Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based solutions supporting wholesale distribution operations. You will lead SAP BTP architecture, integration, and extension development across S/4HANA and other enterprise systems, enabling real-time analytics, scalable workflows, and secure connectivity. Partner with business, data, and operations teams to deliver resilient services, guide development standards, mentor engineers, and drive best practices in DevOps, performance, and compliance within a collaborative, people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and own SAP BTP architecture to support core wholesale and distribution processes.
• Develop and maintain extensions and integrations for S/4
• HANA and other enterprise applications on BTP.
• Implement secure, scalable APIs, events, and services for data and process integration.
• Define engineering standards, code quality practices, and reusable components on BTP.
• Collaborate with business, data, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor developers, review designs and code, and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of BTP services using monitoring and tuning tools.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit standards across SAP and cloud platforms.
