Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer

Work Model: Remote/hybrid/travel

Duration: 4 months+ contract

Are you an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a passion for data and databases? Do you enjoy data analysis, data modeling, and creating ETL data flows? As a senior engineer within the Prime Services domain, you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team, laser-focused on delivering first-class solutions to our customers. You will work across a wide range of technologies, bringing deep technical experience across Databases, ETL frameworks, Python/ Java, and Cloud.

As a Senior Software Engineer in SCO, you will be responsible for:

• Working as part of an agile SCRUM team
• Building scalable and robust ETL data flows and databases using a range of technologies
• Exploring new technology trends and leveraging them to simplify our data ecosystem
• Identifying and resolving issues within the production and non-production environments
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technology solutions for the business needs
• Documenting & sharing technical solutions and diagrams
• Designing and implementing solutions that align with the wider  technology strategy.

 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's / Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills within complex, distributed deployments
• Extensive experience with Snowflake
• Knowledge of ETL and streaming technologies (Informatica, SnapLogic, Kafka, etc.)
• Experience in data modeling, advanced SQL, and performance tuning
• Experience in developing data applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Development experience using Python/Java
• Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes
• Comfortable working with standard CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, etc.)
• Any experience in AI/ML (ML fundamentals, AWS Sagemaker, etc.) and API development is a big plus
• Experience with BI/Analytics is a nice to have
