Senior Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Remote & hybrid, alternating weeks at the nearest office

Duration: 4 months+ contract

 

Number of Positions: 2 roles

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support scalable ETL pipelines, data integration processes, and database solutions using modern data engineering technologies.
• Collaborate within Agile/SCRUM teams to deliver high-quality, business-focused technology solutions across the Prime Services domain.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and non-production environments to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Research and implement emerging technologies and best practices to simplify and enhance the enterprise data ecosystem.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solutions that align with enterprise technology standards and strategic objectives.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, advanced SQL, data modeling, database design, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on expertise with ETL and streaming technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, Kafka, or comparable platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java development, with experience building cloud-based data solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy), and exposure to AI/ML, API development, or BI/Analytics tools is preferred.
