Job Description:

• We are seeking a senior, hands-on Azure Cloud SRE to support critical cloud security and infrastructure initiatives. The role
• will focus on securing Azure services, updating Terraform modules, validating network changes, and remediating security
• findings across a large cloud environment. The strongest candidates combine deep Azure expertise with sound networking
• fundamentals and proactive, concise communication.
• Day to Day
•  Update and enhance Terraform modules for Azure resources, including moving services from public to private network
• configurations.
•  Assess the downstream connectivity and security implications of infrastructure and network changes before
• deployment.
•  Work across Azure services such as Storage Accounts, Redis, Key Vault, virtual machines, App Services, Container
• Instances, Azure Container Apps, and Kubernetes.
•  Review cloud and container security findings, determine remediation paths, and validate completed fixes.
•  Support ingress and egress controls, web application firewalls, jump boxes, private endpoints, routing, and related
• network patterns.
•  Provide clear stand-up updates, maintain accurate tickets, document work, and proactively surface risks or blockers.
•  Collaborate with SRE and security stakeholders on time-sensitive project work and day-to-day operational priorities.
• Must Haves
•  Deep, hands-on Microsoft Azure experience. This is an Azure-first role; AWS-led profiles are not a fit.
•  Strong Terraform skills, including modifying reusable modules, validating changes, and troubleshooting infrastructure-
• as-code deployments.
•  Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/UDP, HTTP layers, ingress/egress, firewalls, routing, private networking,
• and service connectivity.
•  Experience securing Azure resources and understanding how network changes affect dependent applications and
• services.
•  Ability to review security findings and implement practical remediation in cloud and container environments.
•  Clear, proactive communication with disciplined ticket updates, stand-up reporting, and work documentation.
•  Availability to work Eastern Time hours in a fully remote environment.
• Plusses
•  Working knowledge of Kubernetes and/or Azure Container Apps, particularly reviewing findings and supporting
• remediation.
•  Experience with Azure orchestration and application platforms such as App Services or Container Instances.
•  Background supporting information security programs or large-scale cloud security remediation work.
•  Experience operating in high-priority environments where speed, ownership, and reliable delivery are essential.
•  Ability to provide informal squad leadership, strengthen team communication, and help others close execution gaps.
