Description
The Role
The Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst leads and coordinates the budgeting process and monthly business reporting to management, GAC Trust, Creative Victoria (CV), Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry & Regions (DJSIR) and Department of Treasury & Finance (DTF). This role supports the organisation by providing in-depth financial analysis, modelling and insight to facilitate effective decision making at Management, Executive and Trust level and timely reporting to meet its financial management obligations.
The Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst works with a high degree of autonomy and exercises professional judgement to translate the Centre's complex financial data into strategic information.
This position emphasises story telling through converting numbers into clear narratives and by blending financial analysis with visual design to provide recommendations to decision-makers and enhancing the clarity of the information for non-financial users of the data.
