The Role

• Review, revise, and edit technical documents, manuals, and instructions to adhere to style guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather information and produce clear, well-organized written drafts.
• Standardize and format content for maximum clarity, flow, and readability.
• Prepare, edit, and revise reports, correspondence, and other documentation.
• Maintain an organized listing of technical documents and their revision schedules.
• Potentially develop graphic concepts to aid in communication.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in technical writing.
• Ability to pass a Public Trust Security Investigation (US Citizenship required).
• Experience with records management processes and procedures is desirable.
• Familiarity with Federal mandated "plain language" and InDesign is a plus.
