The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for loading and unloading shipping containers. • Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Stack, move, and organize containers accurately and safely. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics operations. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Ability to pass a pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
