Procurement Agent

Summary

This position exists to execute the procurement and acquisition of supplies, equipment and services by using established policies and procedures to perform purchasing and contracting activities for appropriate quality of products and services for Parkview Health.

Education

Requires an Associate's degree in business or related area or equivalent experience to be able to perform the job, prefer a Bachelor's degree.

Licensure/Certification

For Food & Nutrition department Procurement Agent, must have ServSafe Certification or be able to obtain within first 60 days and renew every 3 years.

Experience

Purchasing experience preferred. General purchasing experience should include supplier relations, pricing analysis, and product sourcing.
