Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka and Cassandra. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, distributed, high-performance backend applications using modern Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

• Build event-driven applications and distributed messaging solutions using Apache Kafka.

• Develop Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-streaming workflows.

• Design and optimize Cassandra data models for high-volume, distributed data storage.

• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with enterprise applications.

• Develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-availability microservices.

• Perform application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and Agile development activities.

• Support application deployment and CI/CD automation processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Cassandra.

• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.

• Strong knowledge of Kafka producers, consumers, event streaming, and messaging patterns.

• Experience with Cassandra data modeling, CQL, partition keys, clustering keys, and query optimization.

• Strong experience developing REST APIs and distributed applications.

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and database performance tuning.

• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.

• Good understanding of multithreading, concurrency, OOP, and design patterns.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.

• Experience with Redis, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong backend development and distributed systems experience.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to design scalable applications using Java, Kafka, and Cassandra.
