Job Description


We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Agile technology delivery team supporting Merchant capabilities and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, product thinking, and technical solutioning across integrated enterprise ecosystems and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and deliver solutions end to end.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation for Merchant capabilities.

  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business requirements documentation.

  • Analyze system interactions, APIs, data flows, and cross-application dependencies across upstream and downstream systems.

  • Perform impact assessments and coordinate requirements across multiple teams and applications.

  • Drive backlog refinement, delivery planning, testing strategy support, and release readiness activities.

  • Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and cross-functional discussions to resolve issues and align outcomes.

  • Support solution validation and operational improvements post-release.

  • Proactively identify risks, manage competing priorities, and drive progress in a fast-paced Agile environment.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting technology delivery initiatives.

  • Experience in Agile delivery environments using Jira or similar tools.

  • Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.

  • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and cross-application dependencies.

  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

  • Experience performing impact assessments and coordinating multi-team requirements.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with Merchant, Payments, Digital Commerce, Rewards, Offers, Marketing, or Customer Engagement platforms.

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar digital experience platforms.

  • Familiarity with API-driven architectures and microservices.

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with large-scale enterprise applications and multiple system integrations.

  • Banking or financial services experience.

  • SAFe Agile experience or relevant Agile certifications.

  • Experience mentoring junior analysts and contributing to BA best practices.


Role Logistics & Interview Process:



  • Approved location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

  • Target start: September or October. Max 3 submissions per vendor.

  • Interview process: 1-2 rounds. Video required. In-person required. Glider ID verification required.

  • On resume: include current location, relocation plan, availability or start date, and cooling-off requirement if applicable.
