Job description

Lyst is a global fashion shopping platform founded in London in 2010 and catering to over 160M shoppers per year. We offer our customers the largest assortment of premium and luxury fashion products in one place, curating pieces from 27,000 of the world's leading brands and stores. In 2025, Lyst joined Zozo, operators of Zozotown, the leading fashion e-commerce platform in Japan. This partnership marks a bold new era for Lyst, as we accelerate our vision and work together to transform the future of fashion shopping through AI and technology.

At Lyst, we obsess over the customer, providing a search and discovery experience which offers inspiration, fulfilment, and personalisation. We believe that fashion is amazing but shopping for fashion often isn't, and we use our technology, data and creativity to bring more joy, greater choice and fewer fails. Our mission is to help fashion shoppers make better decisions and help fashion partners find better audiences as the category-leading destination for every fashion shopper.

Role

Product data, and the systems used to transform and enrich it, sit at the heart of how Lyst serves customers and grows revenue. We are looking for a technically strong Product Manager to lead the direction and delivery of the platforms that support our affiliate operations, paid marketing and product-data enrichment.

You will work across two connected missions. The first is helping our commercial teams launch and improve high-value capabilities such as channel integrations, product feeds, conversion and cost data, attribution, reporting and ROAS optimisation. The second is improving the quality, reliability and discoverability of Lyst's product catalogue through internal tooling, product data enrichment, merging and deduplication, leveraging our partnership with our Data Science team in New Zealand.

This is not a conventional consumer-facing Product Manager role. Many requests will arrive with a clear commercial goal and a proposed solution. Your job is to use judgement: move quickly when the problem and solution are well understood; challenge, simplify or productise the request when that will create more value; and make the trade-offs visible when BAU, reliability, technical debt and roadmap work compete for the same capacity.

What you'll do

  • Own the joined-up roadmap for the Affiliate Operations team, Commercial Enablement and Product-Data Enrichment, with clear outcomes, sequencing and measures of success.
  • Turn commercial priorities into well-shaped technical work, partnering with stakeholders who may already have a strong view of the solution.
  • Decide when a request should be delivered directly, when assumptions need testing, and when repeated one-off work should become a reusable platform capability.
  • Partner with the Engineering Lead and team to clarify scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria, maintain a healthy backlog and improve delivery predictability.
  • Lead planning and communication across Paid Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, Data Science and Product & Technology, making trade-offs and capacity constraints explicit.
  • Act as the primary Lyst product contact for the NZ-based Data Science team, aligning roadmaps and turning research outputs into secure, observable and supportable production capabilities.
  • Define and track outcomes across commercial performance, data quality, platform reliability and operational efficiency.

What you'll work on

  • Paid-channel enablement: product feeds (e.g. for Google Merchant Center), conversion APIs, cost APIs, attribution, reporting and integrations for channels such as Pinterest and Reddit.
  • Reusable commercial capabilities: common services, data contracts and self-service tooling that reduce duplicated work across channels and campaigns.
  • ROAS and optimisation: productionising bidding, measurement and optimisation models with the controls, monitoring and feedback loops needed to operate them safely.
  • Partner and affiliate platforms: partner feed ingestion and validation, merchant tooling and the services that connect catalogue and commercial workflows.
  • Product-data quality: enrichment, merging, deduplication, entity resolution, taxonomy and measurable improvements to catalogue completeness and coherence.
  • ZOZO collaboration: joint milestones, experiments, data contracts, technical workshops and clear handovers across time zones.
  • Platform health: SLAs, observability, runbooks, incident follow-up, peak readiness, BAU and a pragmatic technical roadmap across services such as Minion, Plasma, Merchant Uploader and Affiliate Service.
  • Portfolio management: an effective intake process, transparent capacity allocation and clear communication of progress, risk and trade-offs.
  • Experience in product management for technical, data or platform products; we expect this will usually mean at least four years in relevant roles.
  • Experience working on a MarTech team and/or with marketing and commercial stakeholders
  • Enough technical depth to work confidently with APIs, schemas, data contracts, ETL or ingestion pipelines, event flows and production systems.
  • A track record of turning ambiguous or fragmented stakeholder needs into coherent, deliverable roadmaps without adding process for its own sake.
  • Excellent delivery judgement: you can distinguish discovery from execution, define the right level of product work and keep teams moving.
  • Experience balancing planned roadmap work with operational demand, technical debt, incidents and reliability improvements.
  • Confidence working with commercially accountable stakeholders, including constructively challenging a proposed solution when the evidence supports it.
  • Experience working with engineers and data scientists to take models, pipelines or data products from research or prototype into production.
  • A practical, low-ego approach. You care about outcomes, dependable delivery and the long-term health of the systems behind them.
    • Our Ways of Working: We all come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely or come into the office on the other days. We believe that in person collaboration and community spirit is super important, which is why we spend some of our time in the office and some of our time at home.
    • Time Off: In addition to the 8 statutory bank holidays, you will receive 29 holidays per year. Lyst’s holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
    • Competitive Family Leave Package: This includes Enhanced Family Leave for those eligible, paid Time off for Dependents and Support for Fertility Treatment & Loss.
    • Clothing Benefit: We want you to enjoy using the Lyst app and site as much as our customers, so we provide you with a clothing allowance to use on Lyst every year. This starts at £250 when you join and increases up to £1,000 with your length of service.
    • Private Healthcare: Our healthcare provider is Vitality. Your health is important to us which is why we offer all employees a comprehensive healthcare scheme from the day you start.
    • Training Allowance: We’re big on continuous learning and growth, so all employees are currently entitled to an annual training allowance of £1,000. This can be used to attend conferences, industry events, training courses and to purchase resources.
    • Pension Scheme: Our pension provider is The People’s Pension. We offer a minimum employee contribution of 5% and 3% employer contribution.
    • Eye Tests and Vouchers: Employees can make a saving on their eye test and glasses through our chosen provider. You’ll receive a free eye test every year and a discount towards glasses.
    • Cycle-to-Work Scheme: Lyst will purchase a bicycle from your chosen retailer, you will then receive a voucher to pick up your bicycle from them.
    • Transport Season Ticket Loan: Employees can apply for an interest free season ticket loan to support your travel to work.
    • Social Events: Frequent company wide social events including Christmas & summer parties, sports days, themed drinks, quizzes, cook alongs, as well as smaller team socials. We also have plenty of interest based groups such as football, running club, book club, culinary and more.
    • Our Ways of Working: We all come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely or come into the office on the other days. We believe that in person collaboration and community spirit is super important, which is why we spend some of our time in the office and some of our time at home.

We recognise and celebrate the value and impact diversity brings to our company and are committed to ensuring this is a consistent focus, for which we are held to account. We are committed to treating all applicants fairly and equally, and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply for this role. We are happy to talk about flexible working arrangements.
