The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks securely and efficiently.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Safely stack, move, and organize containers according to yard plans and instructions.
• Maintain clear communication with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistics.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Open availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and a keen eye for detail.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs on railcars and perform tasks requiring physical dexterity.
