A large FM and Maintenance contractor who runs the contract for the MOJ to maintain the prison estate has an exciting opportunity.For a Project Manager to join the team covering the Midlands. This is a temporary role for 3-6 months, initially to be reviewed thereafter.The role will require passing security vetting, so a clean criminal record is essential.<br />The role<br />This will be home-based with daily site visits to a variety of prison locations in the Mids area, where you will be responsible for numerous refurbishment projects across the network of the prison buildings. As a Project Manager, you play an important part in delivering projects in a safe and risk-free environment. This includes management of safety, CDM, issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.<br />You will be responsible for:<br />1. Meeting with senior management and clients to track delivery timelines and costs.<br />2. Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements.<br />3. Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of staff members and supply chain.<br />4. Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery.<br />5. Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.<br />6. Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation.<br />7. Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders. About you<br />You will be an experienced construction/Maintenance Project Manager with experience of working within a refurbishment construction background. Experience of managing refurbishment schemes is essential.
