Ultrasonography Technologist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasonographer to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This position performs specialized and complex ultrasound examinations independently while providing high-quality imaging and supporting excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform specialized and complex ultrasound examinations independently.
  • Conduct OB/GYN, high-risk OB, vascular, and cardiac sonography examinations.
  • Provide preliminary findings for physician review and interpretation.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accreditation and quality standards.
  • Assist with the training and development of new staff as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
Work Schedule
PRN (As Needed)
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Sonography required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of ultrasound experience.
  • ARDMS certification in multiple specialties preferred, including OB/GYN and Abdomen.
  • RVT credential preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Doppler imaging and advanced ultrasound techniques.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual acuity.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
