Responsibilities:
Coordinate admissions to the facility by generating referrals and managing the admissions process. Develop and maintain relationships with area referral sources, such as hospitals, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.

Conduct tours of the facility for outside interested parties to showcase our services and amenities. Process referrals and guide potential residents and their families through the admissions process. Sign in new patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently. Coordinate details between hospitals, doctors, our center, and field staff to facilitate a smooth transition for new admissions. Maintain up-to-date bed availability and facility services information to provide accurate information to referral sources and potential residents.

Reach out to medical, insurance, legal, and financial professionals, senior organizations, hospital discharge planners, and community contacts to promote our facility and services. Compile and distribute admission papers, ensuring they are properly filled out and entered into the system. Assist in creating facility materials, such as press releases, brochures, and advertisements, to effectively market our services. Stay informed about Federal and state regulations and reimbursement policies relevant to admissions processes.

Help expedite the admissions process for emergency cases, prioritizing their needs while adhering to regulations. Maintain knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations related to admissions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of admissions experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Ability to cultivate working relationships both inside and outside the facility.
Demonstrated selling, entrepreneurship, and organizational skills with a strong focus and determination.
Marketing experience is a plus.
Must be a team player, highly organized, and possess a positive attitude.
