A key element of this role is proactive communication, both written and oral, with key stakeholders including performers, supporting organizations, military transition partners, and international collaborators. The candidate is expected to function as part of a strongly collaborative scientific and technical team, but also to act independently to complete time-critical tasks. Ability to support the development and management of new programs in strategic communication. 3.) Experience in causal modeling and other fields of data science. 4.) Experience in U.S. foreign policy, messaging campaigns, and data-driven program evaluation. 5.) Must have experience in statistics or another core quantitative method and be capable of reviewing and assessing proposed concepts for scientific and technical merit. 6.) Strong technical writing skills, ability to communicate complex scientific ideas to broad audiences, digest basic and applied research across areas of data science, computational social science, behavioral economics, sociology/anthropology, communication theory, and marketing, and demonstrate a willingness to explore the scientific literature for emerging technologies and innovations. 7.) Outstanding organization, communication, coordination, and time management skills are required. 8.) Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team and handle a wide variety of tasks, including briefing support, program management, and general administrative actions. Key Responsibilities: 1.) Assist in the conceptualization and design of various DARPA programs technologies. 3.) Monitor and evaluate the progress of funded research programs, providing feedback and recommendations to Program Managers. 4.) Identify emerging trends and opportunities to inform future program directions. Facilitate collaboration between DARPA, academic institutions, industry partners, and government stakeholders. 5.) Prepare technical reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate program progress and outcomes. Strong expertise in biomedical sensors, medical devices, and physiological modeling. Proficiency in machine learning and AI techniques, with experience in time-series analysis, medical imaging, or related areas. 6.) Other duties as assigned. Education: Ph.D. preferred. Clearance: DoD TS/SCI security clearance is preferred, must have a secret clearance. Strategic Analysis, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer and is committed to non-discrimination in employment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religions, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, disability (physical or mental), age (40 or older), protected veteran status, genetic information (including family medical history) or any other characteristic protected by law.
