Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automation testing, API testing, database validation, and Agile software development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Perform REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Analyze requirements and participate in design, code review, and test planning activities.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve defects and ensure quality.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform cross-browser, usability, and performance testing as required.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support production validation and investigate application issues when needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
• Strong API testing experience with Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Strong SQL and database testing skills.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or another programming language for test automation.
• Experience with Jira, Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
