Job Description – Enterprise Architect (Banking & Financial Services) Position: Enterprise Architect Location: Flexible / Hybrid Industry: Banking & Financial Services Reporting to: CIO and Head of IT Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the CIO/Head of IT in defining, driving, and executing strategic technology initiatives and shaping the future IT landscape of a leading financial services organization.
The ideal candidate is a highly credible and well-rounded Enterprise Architect with deep expertise across business, application, data, infrastructure, security, cloud, and emerging technologies. The role requires a strong consultative mindset, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to influence senior executives while translating business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps. This position plays a key role in driving modernization, digital transformation, architecture governance, technology innovation, and operational excellence across the enterprise.
Required Experience 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture roles. Proven experience supporting CIOs, CTOs, or senior technology executives. Extensive experience within: Banking Retail Banking Commercial Banking Financial Services Digital Banking environments Demonstrated success delivering large-scale transformation programs. Strong understanding of banking business processes, products, customer journeys, and regulatory environments.
