Job Description

Butcher / Delicatessen Specialist | Karlsruhe, Germany | On-site

We are hiring for a leading national food retailer with a strong presence in local communities, known for its commitment to freshness and quality at the delicatessen counter. This is an opportunity to be the heart of our fresh food section, sharing your expertise and passion with customers.

The Role

  • Advise customers with your expertise on meat, sausage, cheese, and delicatessen items.
  • Create exquisite culinary creations of the finest quality.
  • Ensure an appealing presentation of goods, excellent service, and customer satisfaction.
  • Independently prepare specialty items according to in-house recipes.
  • Maintain excellent product presentation, freshness, and adhere to hygiene regulations.

What You'll Need

  • Ideally, a completed vocational training as a butcher, meat specialist, or food retail salesperson with a focus on butchery.
  • A passion for interacting with people and a love for the retail industry.
  • A reliable, responsible, customer-oriented, and team-oriented work ethic.
  • Willingness to work in a flexible shift system, Monday to Saturday.
