Job Description 

A Cardiac Electrophysiology Tech, also known as an Electrophysiology Technologist, is a healthcare professional who assists cardiologists during cardiac procedures like ablation, angiography, and angioplasty, primarily focusing on diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders by operating specialized equipment to map electrical activity in the heart, interpret data, and prepare patients for procedures while closely collaborating with the medical team.

Cardiac Electrophysiology Tech

Assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. Specializes in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement and EP devices and ablations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CCAHEP accredited program
• 2 years of Electronophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and Abalation devices required ( Would Consider candidates that dont have acute care experience but it is strongly preferred)
• BLS and ACLS required
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
