Job Description

We are seeking a Network / System Engineer III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure provisioning, Linux systems, networks, storage, data center migrations, and security initiatives and a proven ability to lead technical projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver enterprise-scale solutions on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects for infrastructure provisioning, security initiatives, data center migrations, and End of Life programs.


• Lead meetings and communicate technical details and project status to business and technology stakeholders.


• Operate in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines with quality deliverables.


• Build trusted relationships with business partners and engineering teams.


• Analyze and communicate capacity management tasks and outcomes.


• Communicate standards and best practices to Lines of Business and technology teams.


• Coordinate Linux virtual and physical server builds, upgrades, patching, and ongoing support.


• Support clustering, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in technical project management roles.


• Strong Linux systems background and System Administrator experience.


• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including physical and virtual server hosting, storage, networks, databases, middleware, traffic management, and Network DMZ.


• Understanding of DNS, Active Directory, NAS, firewalls, proxies, and SMTP.


• Experience with large enterprise environments and data centers, including hardware and storage.


• Proficiency with project tools and reporting, including Jira, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a self-motivated work ethic.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in cloud, virtualization, and bare metal environments.


• Scrum or Agile delivery experience.


• Experience with capacity planning, DR design, and high availability.
