Production Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Bowling Green, KY that is seeking a Production Supervisor. This position will lead approximately 20-40 union team members in a fast-paced quality manufacturing environment.

Summary

The main function of the Production Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers while supporting safety, throughput, quality, timekeeping, people leadership, and overall production effectiveness. This role is hands-on regarding people leadership responsibility. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for understanding vehicle quality standards, evaluating whether vehicles and products meet those standards, identifying production or quality issues, and determining appropriate corrective actions.

The Supervisor will also work closely with the salaried counterpart supporting the opposite shift to ensure effective communication, coordination, and continuity between shifts. The role requires someone who can take initiative, work independently, communicate effectively, and make timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including situations where all information may not be immediately available.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred but not required
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing field required
• Manufacturing/quality knowledge
• People leadership/supervisory skills
• Fast-paced, decision-making and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
