Job Description

The role: Heavy Microbiology: culture and susceptibility resulting, MIC values, organism and synonym master files, specimen and source setup. Plus call management and result management build and outreach and reference-lab interfaces. They''ll run validation cycles, own the Micro issue log, and spend a few hours a week teaching the client''s analysts, who''ll take these areas over long-term. A separate analyst owns the instrument and Data Innovations side, so this seat is build, not interfaces.

Required

Current Epic Beaker CP certification
Hands-on build in an in-house hospital lab. Reference-lab-only backgrounds haven''t fit here
Deep Microbiology build: culture resulting workflows, susceptibilities, organism and synonym master files
Result management and critical-result call workflow build
Integrated and validation testing at go-live scale, including owning an issue log
Comfortable escalating to Epic directly and running an issue to resolution

Nice to have, not required

Multi-instance consolidation or Epic-to-Epic migration experience
Outreach and reference-lab interface work, CareEvolve a plus
Immunology, urinalysis, hematology, or coagulation build
Go-live command center coverage

What disqualifies: a generalist Beaker CP analyst who''s strong in Chemistry and Hematology but has only maintained Micro. If they can update existing cascading rules but couldn''t build Micro susceptibility rules from scratch, they won''t fit this seat.
