Job Description:-

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 11+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale, cross-functional IT and business projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, strong stakeholder management skills, and expertise in both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile delivery methodologies. This role requires someone who can manage end-to-end project lifecycles, lead distributed teams, and communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders and technical teams alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple concurrent projects across the full SDLC.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders and business sponsors.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets; track progress against baselines.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes proactively using formal risk/issue logs and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) for teams running Scrum/Kanban, while also managing Waterfall-based initiatives as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries (RAG status, burn-down charts, milestone tracking) to senior leadership.
  • Manage vendor and third-party relationships, including SOWs, deliverables tracking, and contract compliance.
  • Drive change management and ensure user adoption for new systems, processes, or tools.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking (CapEx/OpEx as applicable).
  • Ensure quality standards, compliance, and governance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers, coordinators, and scrum masters.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 11+ years of overall IT/business project management experience, with at least 5+ years managing large, complex, enterprise-level projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience with both Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets typically ranging from $1M–$10M+.
  • Expertise with project management tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Strong experience with SDLC, requirements gathering, UAT coordination, and go-live/cutover planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed (onshore/offshore) teams.
  • Strong risk management, financial tracking, and vendor management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe Agilist certification (PMP strongly preferred).
  • Experience in [specific domain – e.g., Banking/Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Telecom – tailor to client].
  • Experience with ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday) or large digital transformation programs.
  • Exposure to cloud migration projects (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a staffing/consulting environment managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
